Agreement to terms

By accessing or installing the Plus 1 Sports application or website, you ('User', 'you', 'your') agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ('Terms'). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. Plus 1 Sports LLC ('Plus 1 Sports', 'we', 'our', 'us', 'the Company') reserves the right to update, modify, or change these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the app. Your continued use of the Service following such notice constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

The service

Plus 1 Sports provides a digital platform that enables users to discover, book, and participate in sports games and sessions in Qatar. We connect players, game organisers, and venue operators. The Company acts as a facilitator only and is not responsible for: (1) the quality, safety, or outcomes of any game; (2) the conduct of hosts, venues, or other participants; (3) injuries or damages that may occur during participation in sports activities; (4) equipment provided by venues; (5) disputes between users. Participation in sports activities carries inherent physical risk.

Account creation and responsibility

To use Plus 1 Sports, you must create an account by providing a valid phone number, full name, date of birth, and gender. You affirm that all information provided is accurate and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We are not liable for any damages resulting from unauthorised access due to your failure to protect your account security. Account sharing or impersonation is prohibited.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Plus 1 Sports. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are using the platform for a dependent (child aged 13-17), you (the parent/guardian) accept full responsibility for their use of the Service. The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts of users who do not meet age requirements.

Bookings and participation

When you confirm a booking for a game, you commit to attending unless you cancel within the specified cancellation window. Cancellation windows vary by game and host and are clearly displayed at booking time. Confirmed players are expected to: (1) Arrive on time at the specified venue; (2) Respect venue rules and safety guidelines; (3) Treat other participants with respect; (4) Follow host instructions; (5) Not participate under the influence of substances; (6) Maintain appropriate conduct. Repeated no-shows or cancellations may result in account suspension. Waitlisted players will be notified automatically if a spot becomes available.

Payments, wallet, and fees

Some games require payment. Payment is processed through your in-app wallet. Wallet funds are topped up via SADAD Web Checkout using your credit/debit card. All prices are displayed in Qatari Riyal (QAR) and include any applicable fees charged by Plus 1 Sports. When you book a paid game, the amount is immediately deducted from your wallet. Minimum wallet top-up amounts may apply. Funds in your wallet do not expire. The Company is not responsible for failed or delayed payments; users can retry from the Wallet section. Once a game is fully booked, further payments cannot be made for that game.

Cancellations and refunds

Host Cancellations: If a game host cancels a game, all confirmed participants are notified immediately and payments are refunded to their wallet in full within 24-48 hours. Player Cancellations: Cancellation terms are set by the host and displayed at booking time. If you cancel within the allowed window, your payment is refunded. If you cancel outside the window, no refund is issued. No-shows (failure to attend without cancellation) forfeit the payment with no refund. Dispute Resolution: If you believe a refund was processed incorrectly, contact support@plus1sports.com with your booking reference.

User-generated content

You retain ownership of any reviews, ratings, messages, or other content you post on Plus 1 Sports. By posting content, you grant the Company a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, and distribute that content. You warrant that your content does not infringe third-party rights and does not contain: (1) Hate speech, harassment, or discrimination; (2) False or defamatory statements; (3) Explicit sexual content; (4) Spam or misleading information. The Company reserves the right to remove, hide, or disable access to content that violates these restrictions without notice.

Prohibited conduct

You agree not to use Plus 1 Sports to: (1) Engage in unlawful activity or encourage illegal conduct; (2) Harass, abuse, or threaten other users; (3) Discriminate based on protected characteristics; (4) Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity; (5) Use the platform for commercial purposes without authorisation; (6) Manipulate bookings, cancellations, or reviews; (7) Access or tamper with our systems or data; (8) Participate in games while unfit due to injury, illness, or substance use; (9) Breach venue security or bring prohibited items; (10) Share login credentials or allow unauthorised account access. Violation of these terms may result in account suspension or permanent termination.

Disclaimers and assumption of risk

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED 'AS IS' AND 'AS AVAILABLE' WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT: (1) The service will be uninterrupted or error-free; (2) Venues meet any specific quality or safety standards; (3) Other users will behave appropriately; (4) Game details are accurate or complete; (5) Hosts or organisers are qualified or insured. PARTICIPATION IN SPORTS ACTIVITIES CARRIES INHERENT RISK INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PHYSICAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR EXPOSURE TO INFECTIOUS DISEASES. Users participate entirely at their own risk. You assume full responsibility for your safety and agree to comply with all applicable laws and venue rules.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLUS 1 SPORTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR: (1) Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages; (2) Lost profits or lost opportunity; (3) Personal injury or property damage sustained during games; (4) Disputes between users; (5) Actions of hosts, venues, or other participants; (6) Service interruptions or data loss; (7) Third-party actions or conduct. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so this may not apply to you. If you have a claim, your sole remedy is to stop using the Service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Plus 1 Sports, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of or related to: (1) Your use of the Service; (2) Your breach of these Terms; (3) Your content or conduct; (4) Injuries or damages sustained during games; (5) Disputes with other users. This indemnification obligation does not apply to the extent that claims arise from Plus 1 Sports' gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Termination of accounts

Plus 1 Sports may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including but not limited to: (1) Breach of these Terms; (2) Engagement in prohibited conduct; (3) Violation of laws; (4) Safety concerns; (5) Fraudulent activity; (6) Repeated no-shows. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. We may retain your data as required by law. Termination does not relieve you of obligations for past due payments. Suspended users may appeal via support@plus1sports.com.

Dispute resolution and governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties for a period of 30 days. If negotiation fails, the parties agree to binding arbitration administered by a mutually agreed arbitrator in Doha, Qatar. Arbitration shall be conducted in English. Each party bears its own costs unless the arbitrator awards costs to the prevailing party. You waive the right to pursue disputes in court or jury trial.

Severability and waiver

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision. No waiver is effective unless in writing and signed by an authorised representative.
