Agreement to terms

By accessing or installing the Plus 1 Sports application or website, you ('User', 'you', 'your') agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ('Terms'). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. Plus 1 Sports LLC ('Plus 1 Sports', 'we', 'our', 'us', 'the Company') reserves the right to update, modify, or change these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the app. Your continued use of the Service following such notice constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

The service

Plus 1 Sports provides a digital platform that enables users to discover, book, and participate in sports games and sessions in Qatar, and to host their own. Beyond one-off games, the Service also supports recurring sessions, multi-session programs, persistent community groups, and organiser-run tournaments. The Company acts as a facilitator only and is not responsible for: (1) the quality, safety, or outcomes of any game, program, or tournament; (2) the conduct of hosts, organisers, venues, or other participants; (3) injuries or damages that may occur during participation in sports activities; (4) equipment provided by venues or hosts; (5) disputes between users. Participation in sports activities carries inherent physical risk.

Account creation and responsibility

To use Plus 1 Sports, you must create an account by verifying a valid Qatar phone number via a one-time code, and providing your full name, date of birth, and gender. You must be at least 16 years old to create your own account. You affirm that all information provided is accurate and complete, including your date of birth and gender — both are used to determine which games you are eligible to book, so accuracy matters. Changing your date of birth or gender after registration requires submitting an identity-verified request for our review, given how directly those fields affect game eligibility. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it, and agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. Account sharing or impersonation is prohibited.

Dependents and booking for others

Parent/guardian accounts may add dependents (children under 16) and book games on their behalf; you are fully responsible for a dependent's conduct, safety, and compliance with these Terms while participating. You may also book a game for up to two guests per game who do not hold a Plus 1 Sports account, by providing their name, phone number, and gender. By doing so, you confirm you have that person's permission to share their details with us and for us to contact them (including via WhatsApp) about the booking. If a guest later creates their own account using the same phone number, their booking history with us may be attached to their new account automatically.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create your own Plus 1 Sports account. If you are using the platform to book for a dependent (a child under 16), you (the parent/guardian) accept full responsibility for their use of the Service, as described above. The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts of users who do not meet age requirements or who misrepresent their age.

Bookings and participation

When you confirm a booking for a game, you commit to attending unless you cancel within the game's cancellation terms (see below). Some sports let you choose a team, side, or pace group when you book; where that applies, the host may configure it so players choose for themselves or so the host assigns players afterward. Waitlisted players are notified automatically if a spot becomes available, and are given a limited window to claim it before it passes to the next person in line. Confirmed players are expected to: (1) Arrive on time at the specified venue; (2) Respect venue rules and safety guidelines; (3) Treat other participants with respect; (4) Follow host instructions; (5) Not participate under the influence of substances; (6) Maintain appropriate conduct. Games marked 'private' are not shown in Discover or Search, but remain viewable and bookable by anyone who has the direct link, subject to any age, gender, or skill-level restrictions the host has set — 'private' should be understood as unlisted, not invitation-only, except for games posted inside a Community group, which are restricted to that group's members.

Payments, wallet, and fees

Some games, programs, and tournament entries require payment, processed through your in-app wallet. Wallet funds are topped up via SADAD (hosted card checkout) or Fawran (bank transfer, verified against your submitted proof of payment) — both are supported today. All prices are displayed in Qatari Riyal (QAR). For a standard paid game, the price you pay includes a platform commission on top of the amount shown by the host; for a cash game, you pay the host directly at the venue and no fee is added to the price shown. Minimum wallet top-up and withdrawal amounts apply and are shown in the app. Funds in your wallet do not expire. Only earnings from hosting games are eligible for withdrawal to a bank account or verified Fawran alias — top-ups, refunds, and promotional credits are not withdrawable. The Company is not responsible for failed or delayed payments; users can retry from the Wallet section.

Cash games and the Organiser Plan

Verified organisers may host 'cash games,' where players pay the host directly at the venue rather than through the app. For a cash game, the host is charged the platform commission upfront, calculated on the game's full capacity, at the time of creation. This fee is refunded in full if the game is auto-cancelled for not meeting its minimum number of players; if the host cancels a cash game that had already reached its minimum, the fee is not refunded. Verified organisers may separately subscribe to the paid Organiser Plan, billed from their wallet, which waives this upfront cash-game commission for as long as the subscription remains active; a failed renewal is given a short grace period before the waiver lapses. The Organiser Plan does not affect commission on standard paid games.

Cancellations and refunds

Host Cancellations: If a host cancels a game, all confirmed participants are notified immediately and any payments are refunded to their wallet in full. Player Cancellations: each game has its own cancellation window, shown at booking time; cancelling within that window results in a full refund, and cancelling outside it results in no refund. If a game never reaches its minimum number of players by its deadline, it is automatically cancelled and everyone is refunded in full; if a game had already reached its minimum and later drops below it, the host is given a short window to decide whether the game proceeds as-is or is cancelled (refunded, in the latter case) before it cancels automatically. No-shows (attending without cancelling) are not eligible for a refund. Dispute Resolution: if you believe a refund was processed incorrectly, contact support@plus1sports.com with your booking reference.

Community groups and tournaments

Verified organisers may create Community groups — persistent groups of players who can chat, share games, and organise together. Group owners are responsible for moderating their own groups in line with these Terms. Tournaments are organised by Plus 1 Sports or an approved host; entry fees, where applicable, are charged from your wallet at the point you join or are added to a team, and are refunded in full if the tournament is cancelled or your team does not fill before registration closes. Match scheduling, scoring, and bracket progression for a tournament are managed by its host or Plus 1 Sports staff.

User-generated content

You retain ownership of any reviews, ratings, messages, or other content you post on Plus 1 Sports. By posting content, you grant the Company a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, and distribute that content. You warrant that your content does not infringe third-party rights and does not contain: (1) Hate speech, harassment, or discrimination; (2) False or defamatory statements; (3) Explicit sexual content; (4) Spam or misleading information. The Company reserves the right to remove, hide, or disable access to content that violates these restrictions without notice.

Prohibited conduct

You agree not to use Plus 1 Sports to: (1) Engage in unlawful activity or encourage illegal conduct; (2) Harass, abuse, or threaten other users; (3) Discriminate based on protected characteristics; (4) Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity, age, or gender; (5) Use the platform for commercial purposes without authorisation; (6) Manipulate bookings, cancellations, waitlists, or reviews; (7) Access or tamper with our systems or data; (8) Participate in games while unfit due to injury, illness, or substance use; (9) Breach venue security or bring prohibited items; (10) Share login credentials or allow unauthorised account access. Violation of these terms may result in account suspension or permanent termination.

Disclaimers and assumption of risk

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED 'AS IS' AND 'AS AVAILABLE' WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT: (1) The service will be uninterrupted or error-free; (2) Venues meet any specific quality or safety standards; (3) Other users will behave appropriately; (4) Game, program, or tournament details are accurate or complete; (5) Hosts or organisers are qualified or insured. PARTICIPATION IN SPORTS ACTIVITIES CARRIES INHERENT RISK INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PHYSICAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR EXPOSURE TO INFECTIOUS DISEASES. Users participate entirely at their own risk. You assume full responsibility for your safety and agree to comply with all applicable laws and venue rules.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLUS 1 SPORTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR: (1) Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages; (2) Lost profits or lost opportunity; (3) Personal injury or property damage sustained during games; (4) Disputes between users; (5) Actions of hosts, organisers, venues, or other participants; (6) Service interruptions or data loss; (7) Third-party actions or conduct. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so this may not apply to you. If you have a claim, your sole remedy is to stop using the Service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Plus 1 Sports, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of or related to: (1) Your use of the Service; (2) Your breach of these Terms; (3) Your content or conduct; (4) Injuries or damages sustained during games; (5) Disputes with other users; (6) Bookings you make on behalf of a dependent or guest. This indemnification obligation does not apply to the extent that claims arise from Plus 1 Sports' gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Termination of accounts

Plus 1 Sports may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including but not limited to: (1) Breach of these Terms; (2) Engagement in prohibited conduct; (3) Violation of laws; (4) Safety concerns; (5) Fraudulent activity; (6) Repeated no-shows or cancellations. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. We may retain your data as required by law, including financial and transaction records. Termination does not relieve you of obligations for past due payments. Suspended users may appeal via support@plus1sports.com.

Dispute resolution and governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties for a period of 30 days. If negotiation fails, the parties agree to binding arbitration administered by a mutually agreed arbitrator in Doha, Qatar. Arbitration shall be conducted in English. Each party bears its own costs unless the arbitrator awards costs to the prevailing party. You waive the right to pursue disputes in court or jury trial.

Severability and waiver

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision. No waiver is effective unless in writing and signed by an authorised representative.
